Atlanta Jewelry Show Announces SJTA U Educational Line-Up For August 2013 Edition

ATLANTA JEWELRY SHOW ANNOUNCES SJTA U EDUCATIONAL LINE-UP FOR AUGUST 2013 EDITION  

Keynote Address By Simon Bailey; Programs Complementing Show's New Designer Resources Headline Versatile Schedule Offerings 

ATLANTA (June 3, 2013)- The popular SJTA U educational series returns to the August 3-5, 2013 Atlanta Jewelry Show with a full line-up of innovative business growth strategies for retailers.  Among the highlights are programs outlining ways to maximize sales of designer jewelry, that complement the August edition's new boutique-style "show-within-a-show" section --Handcrafted Studio. Rounding out the program offerings, popular speaker Simon Bailey, president, Brilliance Institute, Inc. will deliver the keynote address.

FRIDAY, AUGUST 2 

PRE-SHOW DESIGNER WORKSHOP: SUPER-CHARGING YOUR SALES SKILLS

THE BIGGEST MISSED SALE: THE ADD-ON SALE --  HOW AND WHEN TO DO IT!

The add- on is the biggest missed sale in our industry.  Clients quit buying when salespeople quit selling.  Less than 10% of sales tickets written, outside of Pandora, have an add-on.  Point of sale has become a sale killer.  As soon as the first item is sold, the sales associate walks to the computer.  This tells the client that the sale is over!  The average add-on takes only thirty seconds.  Come and learn about the three types of add-on sales; how to professionally make them happen; the use of the lead in line to keep the sale going; and how to increase Christmas sales by becoming a master at the add-on ticket.  We will also discuss add-on contests in your store so your sales associates will be motived to become add-on minded.
