Timely Teaching For The Selling Season In The Plumb Club’s October Podcasts

As the industry enters its most important selling season, The Plumb Club is pleased to announce that two new podcasts have been added to its library of retailer education tools and are available for download. Both podcasts, provided by Plumb Club member companies are aimed at helping retailers in the sales and marketing areas of their business.

Beyond Birthstones – Telling Stories with Gems: On behalf of Plumb Club member Carl K. Gumpert, consultant Cheryl Kremkow provides expert advice on how to connect with customers using the power of storytelling. She takes the listener through five different types of stories that can be told about any gem and offers three actionable tips to help make sales more successful. Carl K. Gumpert creates diamond and gemstone jewelry and custom engagement rings. Kremkow is the former editor of Modern Jeweler Magazine and author of her own blog, Gem Obsessed.

Five Tips to Modern Marketing: For Plumb Club member Jewelmark/Renaissance Jewelry New York, Jiji Lee, their marketing director, highlights how investing in digital marketing is now “a must” for retailers – spotlighting evolving consumer shopping habits and discussing the audience migration to modern-day marketing channels from historically popular ones. Lee provides insight into “inspirational audiences” and “aspirational audiences” and how to target messaging and content to provide “the right message to the right audience at the right time.” Further, she advises retailers to keep up with digital marketing by monitoring what works and what does not. Jewelmark/Renaissance Jewelry New York are creators of the branded lines “Enchanted Disney Fine Jewelry” and “Hallmark Fine Jewelry”, as well as suppliers of fine diamond and gemstone jewelry set into platinum, gold and silver.

The Plumb Club podcasts, which are added monthly, provide strategies, knowledge and immediately actionable steps that will help retailers across a variety of business areas.

The newest podcasts, as well as the previous ones, are available on The Plumb Club website under the “Resources” tab: plumbclub.com/resources/.
